 Host    E Coli
 Species Reactivity    Mouse
Section Bar
Specificity    USP30 shRNA Plasmid (Mouse) contains 3 different target-specific plasmids each encoding 19-23 nt (plus hairpin) shRNAs designed to knock down gene expression. Each plasmid contains a resistance gene for the selection of cells stably expressing shRNA.
 Form/Format    Lyophilized Powder
Section Bar
Quality Control    The sequence of shRNA is guaranteed by sequencing.
Directions for Use    Resuspend lyophilized shRNA plasmid DNA in 500 ul of the deionized water. Each vial contains 50 ug of lyophilized shRNA plasmid DNA. Suitable for up to 50 transfections.
Components    We offer 3 different plasmids which knock down mouse USP30 gene specifically. Each vial contains 50 ug of lyophilized shRNA.
Section Bar
Preparation and Storage    Store lyophilized shRNA plasmid DNA at -20 degree C with desiccant. Stable for one year. Once resuspended, store at 4 degree C for short term storage or -80 degree C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles.
Other Notes    Small volumes of USP30 shrna vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for USP30    Deubiquitinating enzyme tethered to the mitochondrial outer membrane that acts as a key inhibitor of mitophagy by counteracting the action of parkin (PRKN): hydrolyzes ubiquitin attached by parkin on target proteins, such as RHOT1/MIRO1 and TOMM20, thereby blocking parkin's ability to drive mitophagy. Preferentially cleaves 'Lys-6'- and 'Lys-11'-linked polyubiquitin chains, 2 types of linkage that participate in mitophagic signaling. Does not cleave efficiently polyubiquitin phosphorylated at 'Ser-65' (). Acts as negative regulator of mitochondrial fusion by mediating deubiquitination of MFN1 and MFN2 (PubMed:24513856).
