Interleukin-1 receptor

separator
Receptor for IL1A, IL1B and IL1RN. After binding to interleukin-1 associates with the coreceptor IL1RAP to form the high affinity interleukin-1 receptor complex which mediates interleukin-1-dependent activation of NF-kappa-B, MAPK and other pathways. Signaling involves the recruitment of adapter molecules such as TOLLIP, MYD88, and IRAK1 or IRAK2 via the respective TIR domains of the receptor/coreceptor subunits. Binds ligands with comparable affinity and binding of antagonist IL1RN prevents association with IL1RAP to form a signaling complex (By similarity).

Below are the list of possible Interleukin-1 receptor products. If you cannot find the target and/or product is not available in our catalog, please click here to contact us and request the product or submit your request for custom elisa kit production, custom recombinant protein production or custom antibody production. Custom ELISA Kits, Recombinant Proteins and Antibodies can be designed, manufactured and produced according to the researcher's specifications.

 Interleukin-1 receptor type 2 Antibody
Also known as Interleukin-1 receptor type 2 (IL-1R-2) (IL-1RT-2) (IL-1RT2) (CD121 antigen-like family member B) (CDw121b) (IL-1 type II receptor) (Interleukin-1 receptor beta) (IL-1R-beta) (Interleukin-1 receptor type II) (CD antigen CD121b).
IL-1RB: Non-signaling receptor for IL1A, IL1B and IL1RN. Reduces IL1B activities. Serves as a decoy receptor by competetive binding to IL1B and preventing

its binding to IL1R1. Also modulates cellular response through non-signaling association with IL1RAP after binding to IL1B. IL1R2 (membrane and secreted forms) preferentially binds IL1B and poorly IL1A and IL1RN. The secreted IL1R2 recruits secreted IL1RAP with high affinity; this complex formation may be the dominant mechanism for neutralization of IL1B by secreted/soluble receptors. Belongs to the interleukin-1 receptor family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 2q12

Cellular Component: plasma membrane

IL1RL1: receptor for IL33. Its stimulation recruits MYD88, IRAK1, IRAK4, and TRAF6, followed by phosphorylation of ERK1 and/or ERK2, p38-alpha, and JNK1. Apparently promotes the activation and differentiation of T-helper 2 cells. Belongs to the interleukin-1 receptor family. Highly expressed in kidney, lung, pl

acenta, stomach, skeletal muscle, colon and small intestine. Three isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing. Isoform A is prevalently expressed in the lung, testis, placenta, stomach and colon. Isoform B is more abundant in the brain, kidney and the liver. Isoform C is not detected in brain, heart, liver, kidney and skeletal muscle.

Protein type: Membrane protein, integral; Receptor, cytokine

Cellular Component: cell surface; external side of plasma membrane; extracellular space; membrane; proteinaceous extracellular matrix

Biological Process: negative regulation of cell proliferation; negative regulation of I-kappaB kinase/NF-kappaB cascade; negative regulation of interferon-gamma production; negative regulation of T-helper 1 type immune response; positive regulation of inflammatory response; positive regulation of interleukin-5 production; positive regulation of macrophage activation
