AMSH-like protease

Zinc metalloprotease that specifically cleaves 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains. Does not cleave 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitin chains (By similarity).

Below are the list of possible AMSH-like protease products. If you cannot find the target and/or product is not available in our catalog, please click here to contact us and request the product or submit your request for custom elisa kit production, custom recombinant protein production or custom antibody production. Custom ELISA Kits, Recombinant Proteins and Antibodies can be designed, manufactured and produced according to the reer's specifications.

AMSH-like protease

Also known as AMSH-like protease (AMSH-LP) (AMSH family protein) (AMSH-FP) (STAM-binding protein-like 1).
STAMBPL1: Zinc metalloprotease that specifically cleaves 'Lys-63'- linked polyubiquitin chains. Does not cleave 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitin chains. Belongs to the peptidase M67C family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Adaptor/scaffold; EC 3.1.2.15; EC 3.4.19.-; Protease

Cellular Component: membrane

AMSH-like protease sst2

Also known as AMSH-like protease sst2 (Suppressor of ste12 deletion protein 2).
Zinc metalloprotease that specifically cleaves 'Lys-63'-linked polyubiquitin chains. Does not cleave 'Lys-48'-linked polyubiquitin chains (). Plays a role in the multivesicular body (MVB) sorting pathway. Required for ubiquitin-dependent sorting of proteins into the endosome and subsequent trafficking to the vacuole. May regulate MVB sorting through deubiquitination of ubiquitinated ESCRT proteins.
