Aryl-phospho-beta-D-glucosidase

Catalyzes the hydrolysis of aryl-phospho-beta-D-glucosides such as 4-methylumbelliferyl-phospho-beta-D-glucopyranoside (MUG-P), phosphoarbutin and phosphosalicin. Plays a major role in the utilization of arbutin or salicin as the sole carbon source. BglA and BglH are the major proteins contributing to hydrolysis of MUG-P by extracts of late-exponential-phase or stationary-phase B.subtilis cells.

Below are the list of possible Aryl-phospho-beta-D-glucosidase products. Custom ELISA Kits, Recombinant Proteins and Antibodies can be designed, manufactured and produced according to the researcher's specifications.

Aryl-phospho-beta-D-glucosidase BglA

Also known as Aryl-phospho-beta-D-glucosidase BglA (6-phospho-beta-glucosidase).

Aryl-phospho-beta-D-glucosidase BglC

Also known as Aryl-phospho-beta-D-glucosidase BglC (6-phospho-beta-glucosidase).
Is able to catalyze the hydrolysis of aryl-phospho-beta-D-glucosides such as 4-methylumbelliferyl-phospho-beta-D-glucopyranoside (MUG-P), phosphoarbutin and phosphosalicin. Is not essential for growth on arbutin and salicin as the sole carbon source.

Aryl-phospho-beta-D-glucosidase BglH

Also known as Aryl-phospho-beta-D-glucosidase BglH (6-phospho-beta-glucosidase).
