Lysozyme
Lysozymes have primarily a bacteriolytic function; those in tissues and body fluids are associated with the monocyte-macrophage system and enhance the activity of immunoagents.
Below are the list of possible Lysozyme products. Custom ELISA Kits, Recombinant Proteins and Antibodies can be designed, manufactured and produced according to the reer's specifications.
Lysozyme 2
The main role of this lysozyme is in digestion. Has antibacterial activity against the Gram-positive bacterium P.cerevisiae and the Gram-negative bacteria E.coli and V.vulnificus. Shows some chitinase activity but no isopeptidase activity.
Lysozyme 3
Has antibacterial activity.
Lysozyme A
Has antibacterial activity against the Gram-positive bacteria B.subtilis, B.megaterium and M.luteus. No antibacterial activity detected against the Gram-positive bacterium S.aureus or against the Gram-negative bacterium E.coli. Lacks chitinase activity.
Lysozyme A/C
Unlikely to play an active role in the humoral immune defense. May have a function in the digestion of bacteria in the food.
Lysozyme B
Has antibacterial activity.
Lysozyme C
Lysozymes have primarily a bacteriolytic function; those in tissues and body fluids are associated with the monocyte-macrophage system and enhance the activity of immunoagents.
Lysozyme C, non-stomach isozyme
Lysozymes have primarily a bacteriolytic function; those in tissues and body fluids are associated with the monocyte-macrophage system and enhance the activity of immunoagents.
Lysozyme C-1
Lysozymes have primarily a bacteriolytic function; those in tissues and body fluids are associated with the monocyte-macrophage system and enhance the activity of immunoagents.
Lysozyme C-2
Lysozymes have primarily a bacteriolytic function; those in tissues and body fluids are associated with the monocyte-macrophage system and enhance the activity of immunoagents.
Lysozyme D
Has antibacterial activity.
Lysozyme E
Unlikely to play an active role in the humoral immune defense. May have a function in the digestion of bacteria in the food.
Lysozyme M1
This enzyme has both lysozyme (acetylmuramidase) and diacetylmuramidase activities.
Lysozyme P
Unlikely to play an active role in the humoral immune defense. May have a function in the digestion of bacteria in the food.
Lysozyme RrrD
Essential for lysis of bacterial cell wall, by showing cell wall hydrolyzing activity. Exhibits lytic activity against E.coli and S.typhi cell wall substrate.
Lysozyme S
Unlikely to play an active role in the humoral immune defense. May have a function in the digestion of bacteria in the food.
Lysozyme X
Unlikely to play an active role in the humoral immune defense. May have a function in the digestion of bacteria in the food. May be involved in the clearance of bacteria from the larval gut before metamorphosis.
