Metal-binding protein

Is capable of binding multiple equivalents of a variety of divalent and trivalent metals, including Cu(2+) and Fe(3+) but also Mn(2+), Ni(2+), Mg(2+) and Zn(2+). Is able to bind up to six Cu(2+) atoms. It is proposed to be a metal scavenging protein that has a role in cellular copper management in N.europaea.

Below are the list of possible Metal-binding protein products. If you cannot find the target and/or product is not available in our catalog, please click here to contact us and request the product or submit your request for custom elisa kit production, custom recombinant protein production or custom antibody production. Custom ELISA Kits, Recombinant Proteins and Antibodies can be designed, manufactured and produced according to the reer's specifications.

Metal-binding protein SmbP

Is capable of binding multiple equivalents of a variety of divalent and trivalent metals, including Cu2+ and Fe3+ but also Mn2+, Ni2+, Mg2+ and Zn2+. Is able to bind up to six Cu2+ atoms. It is proposed to be a metal scavenging protein that has a role in cellular copper management in N.europaea.

Metal-binding protein ZinT

Also known as Metal-binding protein ZinT (Cadmium-induced protein ZinT).
May function as a periplasmic zinc chaperone or mediate direct transport of zinc from the periplasm to the cytoplasm under zinc-limited conditions. Binds zinc with high affinity, and can also bind cadmium, mercury or nickel. Preferentially binds Zn2+ over Cd2+. Contains one high affinity metal binding site, and can bind additional metal ions at other sites.
