Other Notes
Small volumes of TSNAX recombinant protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Related Product Information for
TSNAX recombinant protein
Description: TSNAX Human Recombinant produced in E Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 313 amino acids (1-290 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 35kDa.TSNAX is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Introduction: TSNAX is a member of translin family. TSNAX particularly interacts with translin, a DNA-binding protein that binds consensus sequences at breakpoint junctions of chromosomal translocations. TSNAX works in combination with TSN as an endonuclease involves in the activation of the RNA-induced silencing complex (RISC). TSNAX has bipartite nuclear targeting sequences that afford nuclear transport for translin, which lacks any nuclear targeting motifs.

NCBI Summary for TSNAX
This gene encodes a protein which specifically interacts with translin, a DNA-binding protein that binds consensus sequences at breakpoint junctions of chromosomal translocations. The encoded protein contains bipartite nuclear targeting sequences that may provide nuclear transport for translin, which lacks any nuclear targeting motifs. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
