MBS044687 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor D (VEGF-D) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing VEGF-D. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS044687 kit is based on VEGF-D antibody-VEGF-D antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect VEGF-D antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, VEGF-D. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%). Published as a c-fos induced growth factor, VEGF - gt vascular endothelial growth factor - (or Unipro FigF) is a well-known cancer therapeutic target. As a secreted protein, human VEGF and mouse VEGF bind to cell VEGF human receptors to elucidate responses. Research into mechanisms of VEGF regulation in cell culture require sensitive ELISA, enzyme linked immunosorbent assay, detection. Mouse growth factor VEGFD may be measured with a sensitive and reproducible Quantikine ELISA kit product. With flexible plate arrays, 48 well or 1 plate of 96 tests, primary antibody ( VEGF mAb clone ), secondary antibodies , standard curve reagent and Alexa 174 fluor, or AMP systems detection, these VEGF ELISA kits were designed with the consumer in mind. Validation sample tests demonstrate excellent range of detection, meaning your samples will be accurately measured and reproducible between assays. Validation results are included with products datasheet, along with technical service.

NCBI Summary for VEGF-D
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor/vascular endothelial growth factor (PDGF/VEGF) family and is active in angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis, and endothelial cell growth. This secreted protein undergoes a complex proteolytic maturation, generating multiple processed forms which bind and activate VEGFR-2 and VEGFR-3 receptors. This protein is structurally and functionally similar to vascular endothelial growth factor C. Read-through transcription has been observed between this locus and the upstream PIR (GeneID 8544) locus. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2011]
UniProt Comments for VEGF-D
VEGFD: Growth factor active in angiogenesis, lymphangiogenesis and endothelial cell growth, stimulating their proliferation and migration and also has effects on the permeability of blood vessels. May function in the formation of the venous and lymphatic vascular systems during embryogenesis, and also in the maintenance of differentiated lymphatic endothelium in adults. Binds and activates VEGFR-2 (KDR/FLK1) and VEGFR-3 (FLT4) receptors. Belongs to the PDGF/VEGF growth factor family.
