Application Notes for anti-PSMD11 antibody
PSMD11 antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:250 ~ 1000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:250.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-PSMD11 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for PSMD11

PSMD11: Component of the lid subcomplex of the 26S proteasome, a multiprotein complex involved in the ATP-dependent degradation of ubiquitinated proteins. In the complex, PSMD11 is required for proteasome assembly. Plays a key role in increased proteasome activity in embryonic stem cells (ESCs): its high expression in ESCs promotes enhanced assembly of the 26S proteasome, followed by higher proteasome activity. Belongs to the proteasome subunit S9 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Proteasome complex; Protease

Cellular Component: proteasome complex; membrane; proteasome regulatory particle; nucleus

Molecular Function: protein binding

Biological Process: ubiquitin-dependent protein catabolic process; stem cell differentiation; proteasome assembly
