GH Porcine; Growth Hormone Porcine Recombinant; GH1; GH; GHN; GH-N; hGH-N; Pituitary growth hormone; Growth hormone 1; Somatotropin; pST
Sequence
The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Phe-Pro-Al a-Met-Pro
Host
E Coli
Form/Format
The Growth-hormone (1 mg/ml) was lyophilized after extensive dialyses against 0.34 mg sodium phosphate buffer (0.02 mg sodium phosphate monobasic & 0.32 mg sodium phosphate dibasic).
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Purity/Purification
Greater than 98.0% as determined by (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized GH although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18 degree C. Upon reconstitution Somatotropin should be stored at 4 degree C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18 degree C.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.

Active Protein Note
Protein activity can be an ambiguous term. Please refer to the data sheet or inquire with Technical Support to determine the definition of activity for this product.
Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized pST in sterile 18M Omega -cm H2O not less than 100 ug/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity
Somatotropin contains 3 units/mg.

Other Notes

Small volumes of pGH active protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
