Elongator may play a role in chromatin remodeling and is involved in acetylation of histones H3 and probably H4. Involved in cell migration. May be involved in TP53-mediated transcriptional regulation. Belongs to the ELP5 family. 4 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
