Insulin Autoantibodies, IAA (IAA) ELISA Kit for Human

Intended Uses: This sandwich kit is for the accurate quantitative detection of human Insulin Autoantibodies (also known as IAA) in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates, cell lysates, tissue homogenates.

Principles of the Assay: This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with human IAA antibody. IAA present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated human IAA Antibody is added and binds to IAA in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated IAA antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of human IAA. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.

Small volumes of IAA elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap.
