0.061ng/mL.
Specificity
This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of ADA. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between ADA and analogues was observed.
Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
Inter-assay Precision
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ADA were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate. CV(%) = SD/meanX100. Inter-Assay: CV<12%
Intra-assay Precision
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay): 3 samples with low, middle and high level ADA were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively. Intra-Assay: CV<10%

Other Notes

Small volumes of ADAMTS1 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS2703988 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the A Disintegrin And Metalloproteinase With Thrombospondin 1 (ADAMTS1) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing ADAMTS1. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS2703988 kit is based on ADAMTS1 antibody-ADAMTS1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect ADAMTS1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, ADAMTS1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for ADAMTS1

This gene encodes a member of the ADAMTS (a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motif) protein family. Members of the family share several distinct protein modules, including a propeptide region, a metalloproteinase domain, a disintegrin-like domain, and a thrombospondin type 1 (TS) motif. Individual members of this family differ in the number of C-terminal TS motifs, and some have unique C-terminal domains. The protein encoded by this gene contains two disintegrin loops and three C-terminal TS motifs and has anti-angiogenic activity. The expression of this gene may be associated with various inflammatory processes as well as development of cancer cachexia. This gene is likely to be necessary for normal growth, fertility, and organ morphology and function. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
