Other Notes

Small volumes of Cd274 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

Searchable Terms for Cd274 purchase

MBS177631 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the PD-L1/B7-H1 PicoKine (Cd274) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing Cd274. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS177631 kit is based on Cd274 antibody-Cd274 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect Cd274 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, Cd274. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for Cd274

The protein encoded by this gene is an immune inhibitory receptor ligand that is expressed by hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells, such as T cells and B cells and various types of tumor cells. The encoded protein is a type I transmembrane protein that has immunoglobulin V-like and C-like domains. Interaction of this ligand with its receptor inhibits T-cell activation and cytokine production. During infection or inflammation of normal tissue, this interaction is important for preventing autoimmunity by maintaining homeostasis of the immune response. In tumor microenvironments, this interaction provides an immune escape for tumor cells through cytotoxic T-cell inactivation. Mice deficient for this gene display a variety of phenotypes including decreased allogeneic fetal survival rates and severe experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2015]
