Preparation and Storage

Antigen
Haloperidol conjugated through the tertiary alcohol at the 4' position of the piperidine ring with a succinic acid linkage to keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH).
Activity and Specificity
This antibody has a Kd of 3 nM for haloperidol and an IC50 value of 260 nM for the reduced haloperidol metabolite (+/-)-4-(4-chlorophenyl)- alpha -(4-fluorphenyl)- 4-hydroxy-1-peperidinebutanol).
