>90%
Purification: Purified by heparin affinity chromatography.
Concentration
346 ug/mL (lot specific)
Specificity
Binds to keratinocytes and most parenchymal epithelial cells; binds specific splice variant of FGF receptor expessed in epithelial cells (FGFr2IIIb).
Preparation and Storage
This product is stable for at least one (1) year at -20 degree C to -70 degree C. Keep frozen until use. Store product in appropriate aliquots to avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

~17,000 daltons
Active Protein Note
Protein activity can be an ambiguous term. Please refer to the data sheet or inquire with Technical Support to determine the definition of activity for this product.
Biological Activity
The activity of rat FGF-7 at 1-10 ng/ml is determined by tritiated thymidine incorporation using cultured mouse keratinocytes. Maximum stimulation observed at 1 ng/ml. The optimal concentration of this product for use with other cell types must be determined by the end user.
Diluent
PBS/1.5 M NaCl
Preservatives
None
Dilutions Instructions
Dilute with either 0.1% TFA/40% acetonitrile or PBS/0.1% CHAPS for best stability and to prevent absorption of product on walls of vessels.
