The 14-3-3 family consists of 30kD proteins that are involved in multiple cellular processes including protein kinase signalling pathways, regulation of cell cycle progression, transcription and intracellular trafficking. Protein interactions with 14-3-3 show distinct preferences for its different isoforms and are regulated by phosphorylation of both 14-3-3 and the bound protein

Usage: Western Blot: Detects a band of approximately 30kD in HEK293 cell lysates. Immunohistology: This product does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.

If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap.
