Product Gene Name
Product Synonym Names
Anti-C5AR1 / CD88 / C5a Receptor Antibody IHC-plus; C5AR1; C5A; C5a-R; C5a ligand; C5a receptor; CD88; C5a anaphylatoxin receptor; C5AR; C5R1; CD88 antigen; Mouse C5AR1; CD88; C5a Receptor
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
IgG2a
Host
Rat
Species Reactivity
Mouse
Form/Format
PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity/Purification
Protein G Purified
Concentration
1 mg/ml (lot specific)
Specificity
Recognizes murine CD88, a 45kD G-protein coupled cell surface receptor, which is otherwise known as C5aR. The CD88 molecule functions as a receptor for the complement component C5a, which is a potent proinflammatory molecule and a chemoattractant for neutrophils to sites of infection. In mouse, CD88 is expressed on granulocytes, monocytes and macrophages but not on resting or stimulated lymphocytes. Clone 10/92 does not block the binding of the C5a to murine CD88
Preparation and Storage
+4 degree C or -20 degree C, Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
Molecular Weight
39,336 Da
OMIM
113995
3D Structure
ModBase 3D Structure for P21730
Target Species
Mouse
Immunogen Description
RBL-2H3 transfected cells expressing murine C5aR.
Immunogen
C5AR1 / CD88 / C5a Receptor antibody was raised against rBL-2H3 transfected cells expressing murine C5aR.
Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-C5AR1 antibody
Immunohistochemistry (IHC - Paraffin; IHC - Frozen), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
Application Notes for anti-C5AR1 antibody
Flo (1:50 - 1:100), IHC-Fr, IHC-P (10 ug/ml)
Usage: Flow Cytometry: Use 10 ul of the suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100 ul.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) of anti-C5AR1 antibody

Anti-C5AR1 / CD88 antibody IHC of mouse kidney. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody concentration 10 ug/ml.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-C5AR1 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for C5AR1

C5aR: a family 1 G-protein coupled receptor that stimulates the GTPase activity of Gi2. Receptor for the chemotactic and inflammatory complement factor C5a. Stimulates chemotaxis, granule enzyme release and superoxide anion production. Phosphorylated in response to C5a or after stimulation of cells with phorbol esters. Expressed on monocytes, granulocytes, dendritic cells, astrocytes and microglia.
