Product Overview

Online Datasheet in PDF
Product Name
2'- Deoxyadenosine- 5'- O- diphosphoribose (dADPR / 2'-deoxy-ADPR), Biochemical
Full Product Name
2'- Deoxyadenosine- 5'- O- diphosphoribose (dADPR/ 2'-deoxy-ADPR), sodium salt
Product Synonym Names
dADPR; 2'- Deoxyadenosine- 5'- O- diphosphoribose, sodium salt
Form/Format
Disodium. Lyophilized or crystallized sodium salt.
Purity/Purification
Typical analysis is >95% (HPLC/ UV/ 260 nm). The product is not sterile and has not been tested for endotoxins.
Preparation and Storage
Store at -20 degree C
It is chemically rather stable and does not need special care during handling or shipment. Nevertheless, we recommend that the compound should be stored in the freezer, for longer storage periods preferably in freeze-dried form.
Molecular Weight
543.3
Solubility
dADPR is soluble to >= 9 mM in water.
CAS Number
111864-49-4
Formula
C??H??N?O??P?
Properties
dADPR is a Transient Receptor Potential Melastatin 2 (TRPM2) channel superagonist and potential novel second messenger. Endogenous dADPR was detected in Jurkat T lymphocytes (all data according to Fliegert et al., Nat. Chem. Biol., 13, 1036- 1044 (2017)).
UV
lambda max 260 nm, epsilon 15000, pH 7
Notes
Equal concentrations of dADPR can appear very different in volume due to sensitivity of the lyophilized form to humidity. The compound can even contract to small volume droplets. Normally the product is located in the conical bottom of the tube. Micromolar quantities are determined by UV at lambda max.
Please rinse tube walls carefully and preferably use ultrasonic or vortex to achieve total and uniform mixing. When opening the tube please make sure that no substance is lost within the cap.
Please keep in mind, that the in vivo properties of this compound are not sufficiently characterized up to now.

Other Notes

Small volumes of 2'- Deoxyadenosine- 5'- O- diphosphoribose (dADPR / 2'-deoxy-ADPR) biochemical vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
