MB752/1 Culture Media – Mb 752/1

Waymouth's MB 752/1 medium is a chemically defined medium developed by Charity Waymouth. It was originally used to study the nutrition, metabolism and growth characteristics of mouse L strain subcell line L929 cells under serum-free conditions. Waymouth's MB 752/1 medium has now been expanded for the culture of whole organs and many other cell lines, such as cancer cell lines. Waymouth's MB 752/1 medium contains many kinds of amino acids, vitamins, inorganic salts and other ingredients for cell culture, but does not contain protein, lipids or any growth factors. Therefore, the product should be used with serum or serum-free additives.

Small volumes of MB752/1 culture media vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
