Other Notes

Small volumes of CXCR1 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS266284 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the CXC-chemokine receptor 1 (CXCR1) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing CXCR1. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS266284 kit is based on CXCR1 antibody-CXCR1 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect CXCR1 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, CXCR1. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

UniProt Comments for CXCR1

IL8RA: Receptor to interleukin-8, which is a powerful neutrophils chemotactic factor. Binding of IL-8 to the receptor causes activation of neutrophils. This response is mediated via a G-protein that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system. This receptor binds to IL-8 with a high affinity and to MGSA (GRO) with a low affinity. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.

Protein type: Membrane protein, multi-pass; GPCR, family 1; Receptor, cytokine; Membrane protein, integral; Receptor, GPCR

Cellular Component: membrane; plasma membrane; integral to membrane

Molecular Function: G-protein coupled receptor activity; signal transducer activity; interleukin-8 receptor activity; chemokine receptor activity; interleukin-8 binding; C-X-C chemokine receptor activity

Biological Process: G-protein coupled receptor protein signaling pathway; cell surface receptor linked signal transduction; receptor internalization; signal transduction; chemotaxis
