Poliomyelitis Virus (PV) ELISA Kit for Human

Intended Uses: For the qualitative detection of Human Poliomyelitis Virus IgG antibody (PV-Ab-IgG) concentration in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with PV. Samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated PV-Ab-IgG and incubated. Then substrate solutions are added to each well. Only those wells that contain PV-Ab-IgG and enzyme-conjugated PV-Ab-IgG will exhibit a change in color. The enzymesubstrate reaction is terminated by the addition of a sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm +/- 2 nm.

Small volumes of PV elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
