Activated CDC42 Kinase 1 (TNK2) ELISA Kit for Rat

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Catalog #: MBS280691

Principle of the Assay: This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate TNK2 in samples. An antibody specific for TNK2 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyTNK2 present is bound by the… More details

Other Notes

Small volumes of TNK2 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS280691 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip-or-full plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Activated CDC42 kinase 1 (TNK2) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing TNK2. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS280691 kit is based on TNK2 antibody-TNK2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect TNK2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, TNK2. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

UniProt Comments for TNK2

Ack: a tyrosine kinase that binds Cdc42 in its GTP-bound form and inhibits both the intrinsic and GTPase-activating protein (GAP)-stimulated GTPase activity of Cdc42. This binding is mediated by a unique sequence of 47 amino acids C-terminal to an SH3 domain. May be involved in a regulatory mechanism that sustains the GTP-bound active form of Cdc42 and which is directly linked to a tyrosine phosphorylation signal transduction pathway. Amplification in primary tumors correlates with metastatic potential . Two differentially spliced isoforms have been described.

Protein type: Ack family; EC 2.7.10.2; EC 2.7.11.1; Kinase, protein; Protein kinase, TK; Protein kinase, tyrosine (non-receptor); TK group
