Protein Wnt-16 (WNT16) ELISA Kit for Human

Intended Uses: For the quantitative detection of Human Protein Wnt-16 (WNT16) concentration in serum, plasma, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate WNT16 in Human serum, plasma, cell culture supernates. An antibody specific for WNT16 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and any WNT16 present is bound by the immobilized antibody. After removing any unbound substances, a biotin-conjugated antibody specific for WNT16 is added to the wells. After washing, Streptavidin conjugated Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound avidin-enzyme reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of WNT16 bound in the initial step. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.

Small volumes of WNT16 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap.
