MBS282297 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip-or-full plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate 5-kinase type-1 gamma (PIP5K1C) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing PIP5K1C. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS282297 kit is based on PIP5K1C antibody-PIP5K1C antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect PIP5K1C antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, PIP5K1C. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for PIP5K1C

This locus encodes a type I phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate 5-kinase. The encoded protein catalyzes phosphorylation of phosphatidylinositol 4-phosphate, producing phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate. This enzyme is found at synapses and has been found to play roles in endocytosis and cell migration. Mutations at this locus have been associated with lethal congenital contractural syndrome. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.[provided by RefSeq, Sep 2010]
