Interleukin-10 (IL10RA) ELISA Kit for Human

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Catalog #: MBS283827

Principle of the Assay: This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate IL10RA in samples. An antibody specific for IL10RA has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyIL10RA present is bound by… More details

Other Notes

Small volumes of IL10RA elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS283827 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip-or-full plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Interleukin-10 (IL10RA) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing IL10RA. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS283827 kit is based on IL10RA antibody-IL10RA antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect IL10RA antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, IL10RA. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for IL10RA

The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for interleukin 10. This protein is structurally related to interferon receptors. It has been shown to mediate the immunosuppressive signal of interleukin 10, and thus inhibits the synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines. This receptor is reported to promote survival of progenitor myeloid cells through the insulin receptor substrate-2/PI 3-kinase/AKT pathway. Activation of this receptor leads to tyrosine phosphorylation of JAK1 and TYK2 kinases. Two transcript variants, one protein-coding and the other not protein-coding, have been found for this gene.
