Interleukin-1 Receptor-Like 2 (IL1RL2) ELISA Kit for Rat

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Catalog #: MBS285233

Principle of the Assay: This assay employs a two-site sandwich ELISA to quantitate IL1RL2 in samples. An antibody specific for IL1RL2 has been pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and anyIL1RL2 present is bound by… More details

Other Notes

Small volumes of IL1RL2 elisa kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

MBS285233 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip-or-full plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Interleukin-1 receptor-like 2 (IL1RL2) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing IL1RL2. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS285233 kit is based on IL1RL2 antibody-IL1RL2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect IL1RL2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, IL1RL2. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

NCBI Summary for IL1RL2

interleukin 1 receptor related protein [RGD, Feb 2006]

UniProt Comments for IL1RL2

Receptor for interleukin-36 (IL36A, IL36B and IL36G). After binding to interleukin-36 associates with the coreceptor IL1RAP to form the interleukin-36 receptor complex which mediates interleukin-36-dependent activation of NF-kappa-B, MAPK and other pathways. The IL-36 signaling system is thought to be present in epithelial barriers and to take part in local inflammatory response; it is similar to the IL-1 system. Seems to be involved in skin inflammatory response by induction of the IL-23/IL-17/IL-22 pathway. Receptor for the interleukin IL36G. Binding to the agonist leads to the activation of NF-kappa-B ().
