Toxin Neutralization: Neutralized Vero Cell toxicity of E. coli O157:H7 extracts when used at a 1 ug/mL concentration.
Immunoblot: Detected SLT 1 when used at 1 ug/mL concentration.
ELISA: Used as capture antibody at 20 ug/mL concentration (100 uL). Immobilizes SLT 1 for detection by an HRP conjugate.

Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application.
Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-E. coli Shiga-like Toxin 1 (SLT-1, STX-1) alpha & beta subunits antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
