Henos [2-12] Antibody – Rabbit Polyclonal

The antiserum was raised in a rabbit which was immunized with human eNOS (2-11Cys12) covalently attached onto a carrier protein. This antiserum is specific for the amino terminal of heNOS. It recognizes the non-myrisylated form best. but does crossreact ~50% with the myristylated form of heNOS. It will quantitatively immunoprecipitate heNOS. The antiserum has been characterized by RIA and ELISA techniques using synthetic peptides and recombinant whole proteins. Dilute the lyophilized antiserum with 0.1 ml of 10 mg/ml BSA is PBS for the equivalent of whole antiserum. or with additional buffer for more dilute antiserum.

Small volumes of anti-heNOS [2-12] antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
