Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 64000.
Western Blot: Approx 40kDa band observed in Human Brain (Frontal Cortex) lysates (calculated MW of 40.8kDa according to NP_005029.1). In transfected HEK293 transiently expressing CyP-40 a band of approx. 45kDa is observed. This band is not observed in the non-transfected HEK293. Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3ug/ml.

Western Blot (WB) of anti-PPID antibody

(0.1ug/ml) staining of Human Brain (Frontal Cortex) lysate (35ug protein in RIPA buffer). Primary incubation was 1 hour. Detected by chemiluminescence.

Western Blot (WB) of anti-PPID antibody

HEK293 overexpressing CyP-40 (RC206039) and probed (mock transfection in first lane), tested by Origene.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-PPID antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for PPID

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase (PPIase) family. PPIases catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides and accelerate the folding of proteins. This protein has been shown to possess PPIase activity and, similar to other family members, can bind to the immunosuppressant cyclosporin A. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
