Western Blot (WB) of anti-ATD3A antibody

Mouse Anti-ATD3A Monoclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS435098

Immunoprecipitation (IP) of anti-ATD3A antibody

ATD3A(384) was immunopre-cipitated from 1mg of Jurkat cells membrane fraction, blotted with M25064 of 10 ug. Western blot was performed from the immunopre-cipitate using M25064 at 1/1000 dilution. Anti-Mouse-IgG(HRP), specific to the non-reduced form of IgG, was used as secondary antibody at 1/10000 dilution. Lane 1: Jurkat cells membrane fraction. Lane2: IP product of Jurkat cells membrane fraction.

Predicted band size : 66 KDa
Observed band size : 66 KDa

Blocking and dilution buffer and concentration:5% milk/TBST.
Mouse Anti-ATD3A Monoclonal Antibody, Immunoprecipitation (IP) – Cat# MBS435098

Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) of anti-ATD3A antibody

Flow cytometric analysis of 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed Jurkat (Human T cell leukemia cells from peripheral blood) cells labeling ATD3A(384) with M25064 at 1/200 dilution (red) compared with a mouse monoclonal IgG isotype control (blue) and an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody, green). Goat anti-mouse IgG (FITC) at 1/300 dilution was used as the secondary antibody.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-ATD3A antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for ATD3A

This gene encodes a ubiquitously expressed mitochondrial membrane protein that contributes to mitochondrial dynamics, nucleoid organization, protein translation, cell growth, and cholesterol metabolism. This gene is a member of the ATPase family AAA-domain containing 3 gene family which, in humans, includes two other paralogs. Naturally occurring mutations in this gene are associated with distinct neurological syndromes including Harel-Yoon syndrome. High-level expression of this gene is associated with poor survival in breast cancer patients. A homozygous knockout of the orthologous gene in mice results in embryonic lethality at day 7.5 due to growth retardation and defective development of the trophoblast lineage. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2017]

UniProt Comments for ATD3A

Essential for mitochondrial network organization, mitochondrial metabolism and cell growth at organism and cellular level. May play an important role in mitochondrial protein synthesis. May also participate in mitochondrial DNA replication. May bind to mitochondrial DNA D-loops and contribute to nucleoid stability. Required for enhanced channeling of cholesterol for hormone-dependent steroidogenesis.
