GRP75 Antibody – Mouse Monoclonal

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Catalog #: MBS435107

This gene encodes a member of the heat shock protein 70 gene family. The encoded protein is primarily localized to the mitochondria but is also found in the endoplasmic reticulum, plasma membrane and cytoplasmic vesicles. This protein is a heat-shock cognate… More details

Western Blot (WB) of anti-GRP75 antibody

Mouse Anti-GRP75 Monoclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS435107

Immunoprecipitation (IP) of anti-GRP75 antibody

GRP75 was immunoprecipitated from 1mg of Jurkat cells membrane fraction, blotted with M25023 of 10 ug. Western blot was performed from the immunopre-cipitate using M25023 at 1/2000 dilution. Anti-Mouse-IgG(HRP), specific to the non-reduced form of IgG, was used as secondary antibody at 1/10000 dilution. Lane 1: Jurkat cells membrane fraction. Lane2: IP product of Jurkat cells membrane fraction.

Predicted band size : 74 KDa
Observed band size : 74 KDa

Blocking and dilution buffer and concentration:5% milk/TBST.
Mouse Anti-GRP75 Monoclonal Antibody, Immunoprecipitation (IP) – Cat# MBS435107

Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) of anti-GRP75 antibody

Flow cytometric analysis of 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed Jurkat (Human T cell leukemia cells from peripheral blood) cells labeling GRP75 with M25001 at 1/200 dilution (green) compared with a mouse monoclonal IgG isotype control (black) and an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody, blue). Goat anti-mouse IgG (FITC) at 1/300 dilution was used as the secondary antibody.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-GRP75 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for GRP75

Chaperone protein which plays an important role in mitochondrial iron-sulfur cluster (ISC) biogenesis. Interacts with and stabilizes ISC cluster assembly proteins FXN, NFU1, NFS1 and ISCU (PubMed:26702583). Regulates erythropoiesis via stabilization of ISC assembly (PubMed:21123823, PubMed:26702583). May play a role in the control of cell proliferation and cellular aging ().
