Hnrnp L (HNRNPL) Antibody – Mouse Monoclonal

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Catalog #: MBS435126

Heterogeneous nuclear RNAs (hnRNAs) which include mRNA precursors and mature mRNAs are associated with specific proteins to form heterogenous ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) complexes. Heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein L is among the proteins that are stably… More details

Western Blot (WB) of anti-HNRNPL antibody

All lanes : HNRPL Mouse mAb at 1/2000 dilution Lane 1 : THP1 cells membrane fraction Lane 2 : Jurkat cells membrane fraction Lysates/proteins at 20 ug per lane. Secondary Goat Anti-Mouse IgG-HRP, 5% milk conjugated at 1/10000 dilution Predicted band size : 64 KDa Observed band size : 64 KDa Blocking/Dilution buffer : 1x TBST.
Mouse Anti-HNRNPL Monoclonal Antibody – Cat# MBS435126

Immunoprecipitation (IP) of anti-HNRNPL antibody

HNRPL was immunoprecipitated from 1mg of THP1 cells membrane fraction, blotted with M25226 of 10 ug. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using M25226 at 1/1000 dilution. Anti-Mouse-IgG(HRP), specific to the non-reduced form of IgG, was used as secondary antibody at 1/10000 dilution. Lane 1: THP1 cells membrane fraction. Lane2: IP product of THP1 cells membrane fraction.

Blocking and dilution buffer and concentration:5% milk/TBST.

Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) of anti-HNRNPL antibody

Flow cytometric analysis of 2% paraformaldehyde-fixed THP1 (Human acute monocytic leukemia cell line) cells labeling HNRPL with M25226 at 1/200 dilution (red) compared with a mouse monoclonal IgG isotype control (black) and an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody, blue). Goat anti-mouse IgG (FITC) at 1/300 dilution was used as the secondary antibody.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-HNRNPL antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

UniProt Comments for HNRNPL

Splicing factor binding to exonic or intronic sites and acting as either an activator or repressor of exon inclusion. Exhibits a binding preference for CA-rich elements (PubMed:11809897, PubMed:22570490, PubMed:24164894, PubMed:25623890, PubMed:26051023). Component of the heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) complexes and associated with most nascent transcripts (PubMed:2687284). Associates, together with APEX1, to the negative calcium responsive element (nCaRE) B2 of the APEX2 promoter (PubMed:11809897).
