Application Notes for HIV1 tat active protein
Dilute tat stock solution in 150mM NaCI, 50mM Sodium Citrate, pH6.5 immediately before use. For tissue culture assays, dilute tat directly into tissue culture medium. Tat readily oxidizes in buffer solutions, which may change its LTR dependent transcriptional activation activity.

Small volumes of HIV1 tat active protein vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap.
