Preparation and Storage

Molecular Weight

Recombinant Human ACE2 is a protein consisting of amino acid residues [Gln 38-Ser740] ,due to glycosylation migrates as an approximately 116 kDa protein on SDS-PAGE.

Source Note

DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain of Human ACE2 including a C-terminal human IgG1-Fc tag was expressed in HEK293 Cells.

Endotoxin

Endotoxin content was assayed using a LAL gel clot method. Endotoxin level was found to be less than 0.1 ng/ug(1EU/ug).

Reconstitution

A quick spin of the vial followed by reconstitution in distilled water to a concentration not less than 0.1 mg/mL. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers.
