Goats were immunized with highly purified cat IgGFc isolated from normal cat IgG. The resulting antiserum was immunoabsorbed against cat Fab and the anti Fc immunoaffinity isolated from an immunoabsorbant column.

Application Notes for anti-anti-Cat IgG Fc antibody
The affinity purified antibody was tested at 1 mg/ml against 1 mg/ml solutions of IgG, IgM, IgA and IgE. It reacts only with cat IgG by immunodiffusion and IEP techniques. This does not imply an equal balance of reactivity to all IgG subclasses.

Small volumes of anti-anti-Cat IgG Fc antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap.
