Procedure
Rabbits were immunized with highly purified YPYDVPDYA (influenza hemagglutinin-HA-epitope) and the resulting antiserum was collected. Antibody was immunoaffinity purified off a peptide containing immunosorbent then coupled to agarose beads. Antibody concentration was determined prior to agarose coupling using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG.
