Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized material should be kept at 4°C.
Rehydrate by adding 1.0 mL of reagent quality water to the product vial. Store the liquid solution at 4°C for up to a month; thereafter, aliquots should be prepared and stored frozen.
Procedure
Rabbits were immunized with highly purified bovine serum albumin (BSA) and the resulting antiserum was collected. The antiserum was delipidated, solid phase adsorbed, an IgG fraction was prepared and the antibody was lyophilized. Total antibody concentration was determined prior to lyophilization using an absorbance at 280 nm: 1.4 equals 1.0 mg of IgG
Specifications
This antibody reacts with BSA as determined by IEP and Ouchterlony techniques. This antibody may crossreact with albumin from other species. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the investigator.

Small volumes of anti-BSA antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
