Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C or -20 degree C. The working antibody solution is stable for at least 7 days at 4 degree C. Precautions should be taken for storage for longer periods. Problems of long term stability may occur with highly diluted solutions.
No other preservative agent has been added to the present formulation.
For long storage purposes in solution the addition of sodium azide to 0.02 % is advised with the appropriate precautions of use.
Source Note
Rabbit immune serum
Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-Indole-3-butyric acid antibody
ELISA (EIA), Immuno affinity chromatography (IAC)
The antibody may be used in ELISA and Immuno-affinity-chromatography (IAC). Samples may include cutting medium samples and extraction of these samples may be performed using PBS-10% methanol, followed by neutralisation of the extract.
Suggested dilution :50,000 in the indirect ELISA and 1:12,800 in the direct ELISA (this titer is defined as the dilution that gives 50 % of the absorbance from the maximum absorbance when tested with ELISA). Plates are coated with 400 ng/ml ovalbumine-conjugated indole-3-butyric acid. HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG should be used as a tracer in a 1:8,000 dilution.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-Indole-3-butyric acid antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
