Cletoquine oxalate (Desethylhydroxychloroquine oxalate) is a major active metabolite of Hydroxychloroquine. Cletoquine has the ability to against the chikungunya virus (CHIKV). Cletoquine has antimalarial effects and has the potential for autoimmune disease treatment.
