Human leukocyte antigen (HLA) is the antigen binding, membrane bound alpha chain of major histocompatability complex I (MHC1). While the small Beta chain is the invariable beta 2 microglobulin, the alpha chain has three major isoforms (HLA-A, HLA-B, HLA-C) that are encoding by different loci on chromosome 6 and each of the isoforms has a highly variable region that resembles Fab on immunoglobulin. The HLA-ABC antibody reacts with a common epitope shared by HLA-A, HLA-B and HLA-C.

Small volumes of anti-HLA-ABC antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
