Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-CHD6 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for CHD6

Chromosomal DNA of eukaryotic cells is compacted by nuclear proteins to form chromatin, an organized nucleoprotein structure that can inhibit gene expression. Several multisubunit protein complexes exist to remodel the chromatin to allow patterns of cell type-specific gene expression. The protein encoded by this gene is thought to be a core member of one or more of these complexes. The encoded protein, which is a member of the SNF2/RAD54 helicase family, contains two chromodomains, a helicase domain, and an ATPase domain. [provided by RefSeq]
