Human
Form/Format
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in PBS, 5% trehalose. Reconstitution: Reconstitute with sterile PBS. If 0.2ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 500ug/ml.
Purity/Purification
Affinity Purified
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes human VHR.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
E. coli-derived rhVHR
Hybridoma
Produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, E. coli-derived recombinant human VHR (rhVHR; aa 2-185; Accession # NM_004090).
ELISA (EL/EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
Immunohistochemistry, Direct ELISA
Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: This antibody was used at a concentration of 25ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect VHR in paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue sections. For chromogenic detection of labeling, the use of staining kits is recommended.
Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human VHR. The detection limit for rhVHR is approximately 1 ng/well.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-VH1-Related Phosphatase, Vaccinia Virus antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
