SIRP, alpha1, Monoclonal Antibody
Full Product Name
SIRP, alpha1 (SIRPa, Signal Regulatory Protein, SHPS-1, BIT, p84, CD172a)
Product Synonym Names
Anti -SIRP, alpha1 (SIRPa, Signal Regulatory Protein, SHPS-1, BIT, p84, CD172a)
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
IgG2a
Clone Number
6A459
Host
Mouse
Species Reactivity
Rat
Form/Format
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.09% sodium azide.
Purity/Purification
Affinity Purified
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes rat CD172a, also known as Signal regulatory protein (SIRP). CD172a is expressed selectively by myeloid cells and by neurons. Binds to a different epitope on SIRP than ED9. Does not block the interaction of CD172a-CD47.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
Rat peritoneal macrophages
Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-SIRP, alpha1 antibody
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
Application Notes for anti-SIRP, alpha1 antibody
Suitable for use inFlow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin).
Dilution: Flow Cytometry: 1:100-1:200 Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul
Immunohistochemistry: Requires protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections e.g. trypsin or pronase.
Optimal dilution determined by the researcher
Immunohistochemistry: Recommended Secondary Reagents:
Goat anti mouse IgG:HRP (rat adsorbed)

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-SIRP, alpha1 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
