Nogo 66 Receptor, Monoclonal Antibody
Full Product Name
Nogo 66 Receptor (Ngr)
Product Synonym Names
Anti -Nogo 66 Receptor (Ngr)
Clonality
Monoclonal
Isotype
IgG2b
Clone Number
8H116
Host
Rat
Species Reactivity
Mouse
Form/Format
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in PBS, 5% trehalose. Reconstitution: Reconstitute with sterile PBS. If 1ml of PBS is used, the antibody concentration will be 500ug/ml.
Purity/Purification
Affinity Purified
Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography.
Specificity
Recognizes mouse NgR. In direct ELISAs and Western Blots this antibody does not crossreact with rhNgR.
Preparation and Storage
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 degree C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Immunogen
NS0-derived rmNgR extracellular domain
Hybridoma
Produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a rat immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant mouse Nogo receptor (rmNgR) extracellular domain.
Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-Nogo 66 Receptor antibody
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes for anti-Nogo 66 Receptor antibody
Western Blot, Direct ELISA
Dilution: Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse NgR. The detection limit for rmNgR is approximately 10 ng/well. Western Blot: This antibody can be used at 1-2ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect mouse NgR. The detection limit for rmNgR is approximately 25 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-Nogo 66 Receptor antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
