Application Notes for anti-NT5E antibody
Dilution: Immunofluorescence: HUVEC cells were seeded on gelatin-coated coverslips and stained with N7100-71C (5).
Flow Cytometry: 1:50. Stains the extracellular domain (1).
Immunohistochemistry (Frozen): 1:50. Tissue sections were fixed in acetone. Not suitable for use with paraffin sections (5).
Functional Studies: Functions as an inhibitor of lymphocyte binding to HUVEC. Tested by incubating the lymphocytes with the antibody before adding the lymphocytes to an EC monolayer (1).
Postitive Control: HUVEC and fresh lymphocytes
Negative Control: COS cells
Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) of anti-NT5E antibody

FC: Flow cytometric detection of human CD73 on Huvec using MBS605214. Black, red and blue line represents cells only, isotype control and 4G4 (4ug/ml, respectively).

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-NT5E antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for NT5E

The protein encoded by this gene is a plasma membrane protein that catalyzes the conversion of extracellular nucleotides to membrane-permeable nucleosides. The encoded protein is used as a determinant of lymphocyte differentiation. Defects in this gene can lead to the calcification of joints and arteries. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
