Product Gene Name
Product Synonym Names
FLASH, CT (FLICE-associated Huge Protein)
Clonality
Polyclonal
Isotype
IgG
Host
Host: Rabbit
Source: Human
Species Reactivity
Human
Form/Format
Affinity Purified
Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.4 and 0.1% sodium azide, 40% glycerol.
Purity/Purification
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Specificity
Human control peptide sequence is 92% conserved in mouse FLASH. Control peptide, because of its low MW (<3kD), is not suitable for Western. It should be used for ELISA or antibody blocking experiments (use 5-10 ug control peptide per 1 ug of aff pure IgG or 1 ul antiserum) to confirm antibody specificity
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and add glycerol (40-50%). Freeze at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
