Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography using goat IgG coupled to agarose beads. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-rabbit serum, goat IgG, anti-biotin and goat serum.
Specificity
Recognizes goat heavy and light chains. No reaction was observed against human serum proteins.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Application Notes for anti-IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed antibody
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, immunomicroscopy as well as other antibody based assays using streptavidin or avidin conjugates requiring lot-to-lot consistency.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:28,000-1:116,000 using ABTS as substrate detects 1ug of Goat IgG in standard sandwich ELISA.. Optimal dilutions to be determined by researcher.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-IgG, H&L, X-Adsorbed antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
