Product Categories/Family for anti-IL17B antibody

Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-IL17B antibody
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes for anti-IL17B antibody
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Dilution: ELISA: To detect hIL-17B by direct ELISA (using 100ul/well antibody solution) this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.15-0.30ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2ng/well of recombinant hIL-17B.
Western Blot: To detect hIL-17B by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hIL-17B is 1.5-3.0ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-IL17B antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for IL17B

The protein encoded by this gene is a T cell-derived cytokine that shares sequence similarity with IL17. This cytokine was reported to stimulate the release of TNF alpha (TNF) and IL1 beta (IL1B) from a monocytic cell line. Immunohistochemical analysis of several nerve tissues indicated that this cytokine is primarily localized to neuronal cell bodies. [provided by RefSeq]
