Product Categories/Family for anti-CDHR5 antibody

Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-CDHR5 antibody
ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes for anti-CDHR5 antibody
Western Blot: This antibody can be used at 0.1-0.2ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human MUCDHL. The detection limit for rhMUCDHL is approximately 5 ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions., Direct ELISA: This antibody can be used at 0.5-1.0ug/ml with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect human MUCDHL. The detection limit for rhMUCDHL is approximately 0.3 ng/well., Optimal dilutions should be determined by each laboratory for each application.

Other Notes

Small volumes of anti-CDHR5 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for CDHR5

This gene is a novel mucin-like gene that is a member of the cadherin superfamily. While encoding nonpolymorphic tandem repeats rich in proline, serine and threonine similar to mucin proteins, the gene also contains sequence encoding calcium-binding motifs found in all cadherins. The role of the hybrid extracellular region and the specific function of this protein have not yet been determined. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described. [provided by RefSeq]
